AP Exams

This year, AP exams will be offered in Calculus AB, Chemistry, English Literature and Composition, Microeconomics, Psychology, and United States History. The fee for each exam is $54.00. (The Minnesota Department of Education is providing $40.00 towards each student exam, so the fee is not the $94.00 listed in the bulletin.) The $54.00 exam fee is due at the time of registration in the Counseling Office. Checks should be made payable to Faribault High School. The registration deadline is Thursday, March 14 at 3:30 p.m. Exam schedules are printed on the back cover of the bulletin for AP Students and Parents. Exam locations will be announced at the pre-exam meeting. Exam testing locations will be determined after registration.

All students who register to take an AP exam will be required to complete a pre-exam session. That session will be conducted during the AP class in mid-April. The purpose of this session is to fill out all required pre-test information. There is about 30 minutes of paperwork to complete, and it must be done with guided instructions. Students who do not fill out the pre-exam materials will not be allowed to test.

Students in need of financial assistance for testing fees, please ask someone in the Counseling office at the time of registration. If you have other questions about AP testing, please see Mrs. Peanasky.
