ACT

Regarding the April 4th, 2020 National ACT testing date:

The safety of students and test center staff is ACT’s top priority.  ACT has rescheduled its April 4 national test date to June 13 across the U.S. in response to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT in the next few days informing them of the postponement and instructions for free rescheduling to June 13 or a future national test date.  Please go to act.org for more information.

Regarding the March 24th, 2020 ACT Test for Juniors:

On March 24th, 2020, Faribault High School planned to offer the ACT, Accuplacer, or neither for all of our current juniors.  However, due to COVID-19, this testing date was cancelled.  Faribault High School would still like to offer this opportunity for our juniors, therefore this testing date has been rescheduled for October 6th, 2020.  FHS Counselors will work with students in the fall to make sure they get registered for their preferred test.

If students would like to take the ACT prior to this testing date, we would encourage you to sign-up for a National test date, which can be done by clicking
here.  If you sign-up for a National test date, you will have to pay for this exam. If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, fee waivers available through the Counseling office.  Please reach out to Amy Severson (aseverson@faribault.k12.mn.us) if you need a fee waiver.
