November Students of the Month

Nine Faribault High School juniors were honored as Students of the Month at a breakfast on Friday, Nov. 16, at the high school media center. The nine honorees were Calvin Gutzmann (English), Ryan Kline (Science), Keanna Kerrigan (World Languages), Zachary Webster (Physical Education), Ashley Sanchez (Industrial Arts), Kennedy Lansing (Falcon Spirit), Carly Doyle (Social Studies), Julissa Paramo (Fine Arts) and Ahmed Anis (Math).

Calvin Gutzmann: “Calvin has survived my class last year and elected to take another. This time he has excelled in an environment where a majority of the students are seniors. He has no problem matching or besting them in discussions and presentations.” -Mr. Hoff.

Ryan Kline: “Ryan Kline is excelling in Physics and goes out of his way to help other students in class, in homeroom and outside of school. He has great aptitude for science, but he also shown leadership and cooperative skills that rise above those of the average high school student.” -Mr. Wieber.

Keanna Kerrigan: “Keanna is always smiling, positive and willing to volunteer and help others. She has an innate desire to learn new things even if they are not part of the curriculum.” -Mrs. Sorum.

Zachary Webster:Zach is always in class ready to participate and has a great attitude,” -Mr. Rhodes

Ashley Sanchez: “Ashley is in my first hour class. She always comes to class with the best attitude. Her laugh is infectious and helps us all wake up in the morning. She works quickly and is always willing to help with anything that I need help with. First hour would just not be the same without Ashley.” -Mrs. Wiens

Kennedy Lansing: “I have known Kennedy since 6th grade. She always has a smile on her face, says "hi", is kind to others and steps up to the plate when students are needed to help/volunteer with younger FPS students. She is a ray of sunshine and exhibits the characteristics of Falcon PRIDE.” - Mrs. Oanes.

Carly Doyle: “Carly is the "Perfect" student!!! Not only does she have the Best Score of all my Am. Gov't classes, she's also the most friendly and considerate!!” -Mr. Ehlers.

Julissa Paramo: “Julissa puts in a lot of time and effort into each art piece. She even will come in outside of class to put in the time it takes to create her masterpieces. She doesn't shy away from complicated pieces.” -Mrs. Demarais

Ahmed Anis: “Ahmed's last month in Geometry has been nothing short of awesome. The amount of work he puts in during AND outside of class has definitely shown, as he has boosted up his grade immensely. He always comes to class with a huge smile, and that certainly does not go unnoticed!” –Mr. Schiebel
